In this novel, Boris Vian depicts a dark universe, that of science dedicated to eugenics, that of obsessive perfection, where sex and crime are intimately linked. 
This project is a work of layout, illustrations, editing. I chose to work on old photos in order to be as close as possible to the atmosphere of the book and to the period where the story takes place.My approach for this project was more that of an "archaeologist". In fact, I really projected myself as if the story had taken place and that I had to find traces, like an investigator. Except that I was the one who made the " proofs " !
